We will keep you informed about the schedule and progress and any details that you may need to decide upon and pay personal attention to our projects from start to finish.

Investors in People

Since 2006 the company has been actively involved in developing and embedding Business, Training and Review Plans with monthly appraisals being a key factor to help identify possible training needs. Everyone employed within the business is given the opportunity to discuss their own performance and individual targets via our Performance Review procedure. This gives everyone a constructive approach to helping achieve individual targets and maintaining focus on the Business direction, giving a positive sense of worth within the organisation. Because of this implementation, the company, early in 2008, was accredited with the 'Investor in People' status - a leading Business Standard which demonstrates the commitment made to the training and development of company staff.

G.I. Hopley Ltd is committed to serving young local people with employment; and, for many years has taken part in the Apprenticeship Scheme which is run by the Construction Industry Training Board. Apprentices are taken on board attending the local colleges one day a week while also working on site for the remainder ensuring all round practical and theory education. All apprentices work through a two or three year programme guaranteeing them with an NVQ Level in their prospective trade.
